“The amazing grace of
the Master, Jesus Christ, the extravagant love of God, the intimate friendship
of the Holy Spirit, be with all of you.” (2 Corinthians 13:14)
Several weeks ago, one of our staff members
shared this during weekly staff meeting, and I wanted to pass it along to you
as a reminder of our need to have the proper perspective about the love of God:

A-T-T-I-T-U-D-E

L-O-V-E-O-F-G-O-D
(12+15+22+5+15+6+7+15+4) = 101%
Therefore,
one can conclude with mathematical certainty that while knowledge and hard work will get you close, and attitude will get
you there, it’s the Love of God that will put you over the top!
What
does this simple manipulation of letters and numbers have to do with Christian faith? Well, nothing and everything! On the one hand, it shows that with clever
maneuvering, the alphabet and number values can tell us some interesting
things.
On the
other hand, it points out that not all things are reducible to logical,
quantifiable, mathematically sound results.
We can’t simply put God in a box and force Him to play by our rules --
[like] putting the concept of God’s grace [and love] in a neat little
definition which makes ‘sense.’ Thank
God for providing freedom from the politically correct, fully explainable,
awe-absent world we are a part of most of the time.”
The
lesson is clear: we don’t need to ever
take the love and grace of God for granted!
Remember that you are a recipient of grace/love, so please be sure to
pass grace/love along to others around you whenever you can (no matter how
difficult they are!) Remember, God loves
you and I do, too!
